Lakeshire homes, located just a few miles outside of oxford, Mississippi started construction in the 1970's. The homes of Lakeshire subdivision have a nice country feel to them due mainly to the trees that are still in the subdivision as well as their rural feel. There was a home built in 2007 which breathed some new life into Lakeshire. If you were to take College Hill road about 8 miles you will see the homes of Lakeshire sitting on mostly one acre lots in the Lafayette County School District.
